Only 3 months after our last one, we are delighted to bring you our 3rd Online Street Dance competition!
We have been very much looking forward to seeing you all in person and how exciting it’s going to be when we do! But it was just a little early for this and so once again it has been fantastic to see dancers continuing with this new way of competing over the last few weeks by filming their entries ready for the judges to see. Teachers have had a slightly more difficult job this time with students isolating around the time of filming but with a great mixture of studio and home/ garden videos, it seems we have once again got there with a large number of entries across the sections.
With categories for all ages in Solos, Set Routines, Duos, Trios & Quads and over 30 dance schools taking part, our judges have got a very difficult job on their hands. A massive thank you to Hollie, Ola, Dre & Jeffrey this time for all your help & knowledge.
Please see some information below relating to the schedule for this weekends competition, how the results will be announced and how the age categories have been split for the solo categories.
The results over the weekend will be announced in 3 stages-
1- Announcements of semi finalists
2- Announcements of finalists
3- Presentation of finalists (placings)
Semi Finals will usually show between 9-18 for solo & duos events and between 6- 12 groups for Trio/ Quad events. Finals will usually show between 5-8 for Solos & Duos and 4/5 groups for Trios/ Quads depending on judges scores and how many entered each section initially.
There has been an exceptionally high number of entries in some of the categories this time, especially across Dance 1 and Beginner Freestyle. Some with 50-60 dancers in each single age category!
Some events which had slightly less entries will go straight to a final on both days. You will see which events this applies to below.

All dancers will receive one of our brand new On The Beat awards for entering this competition. Any dancers placing 1st-3rd any categories will also receive additional awards.
